Divimera R11.1, a new major update is available on itch.io now!


Hey everyone!

I'm bringing a new major content update to Divimera.

This version is lite on new content, there was an important rework on the beginning of the game, and reworked art in preparation for Steam. The next update will have more content.


Changelog:

- Continuation of the story.

- 1 new H-scene (Lily).

- Fixed index error with quests and history.

- More improvements to Android version, switching tabs should not produce crashes anymore unless you are skipping or in very rare cases.

- Translation in Spanish and Russian, updated and complete for this version.

- Rework of the art.

- Rework of the dialogues.

- Rework of the beginning to be more intuitive: you are now forced to meet the Doctor and initiate a trade with him on Day 1.

Always happy to see an update to the game, but dang, Lily's sudden attitude shift was... jarring. Painfully jarring when you do a "Lily only" run.

Man what a fun time. Just went through some of the new content (haven't started a new save just yet) but what amazes me is how there are varied paths to the new scenes. Lily's new scene easily my favorite addition if I'm honest. I missed out on the previous update just due to life stuff. But man the story is still as engaging as I remember it. I got took aback quite a bit during the monster sequence. I will definitely have to take a look at the new walkthrough and see not only what I'm missing but also the proper tasks to get some different scenes. On that note. Something that didn't get preserved with my old saves were the old scenes I had unlocked before. By that I mean, I had lost all function with my old computer but luckily backed up the saves and the like before things got worse and was fubar. Said saves do function without issue however the data for unlocking said scenes already passed through were not preserved. Needless to say regarding the new story bits... man. I must commend the effort put into the dialogue. Even if a lot of time has passed since I last played, the new contents feel absolutely natural as a continuation. Keep up the wonderful work, will post one more time if I find anything interesting of note or any other additional praises regarding the revamped day 1 scenario.

That sucks for the computer but glad it got sorted out, gallery data is on a separate file called "Persistent" close to saves.

That would explain some things. Thank you for taking the time to respond. It has been a real hot minute since I have played it but I did unlock some more scenes before taking a break from it. What I can say regarding Day 1's new pacing is definitely refreshing and gives the player important information regarding sanity and what aids its recovery. Meeting the Doctor right away makes sense since he's quite an important character you must interact with in regards to maintaining not just your sanity but also getting out of other situations a bit easier. Something I'll be going through this weekend are the new routes and updated old ones especially regarding whom your first goes to. Especially now that you can give the honor to Charlotte what it means to make love to be her and your first. The walkthrough is quite good and easy to read being very straight forward with an additional screenshot that I think will definitely be helpful towards those who may have had a bit of trouble with the rope. Luckily I had no such issue when it came to revisiting this game and figuring out where to go again. I hope to comment again sometime soon. I hope you have been well.

Glad the walkthrough is working well too. The changes for the routes are subtle, but next version should deliver more content and some rework to the intro. In any case I hope you enjoy your new playthrough. =)

Thank you. Been enjoying it thus far, though... one thing was a bit off when trying to get the alternate scenes with Lily.  I thought that simply getting the other scenes with Hale would allow the alternate scenes with Lily but I suppose the variants are exclusive to the Hale route itself. Made more progress getting the gallery filled in with only a few left to go. Had a blast going through it all and some of the mistakes of rushing toward the scenes. But I'm thankful that the game can technically be brute forced through if the player chooses to as well as the choice of either shooting the loaded gun or sacrificing the shovel. Not sure if having the shovel around will affect Day 7 or a bit later but it is an interesting choice to think about with the coming updates. Especially when it comes to whether or not you properly save the gardener if you got his trust. Haven't gotten to that scene just yet but maybe tomorrow or the day after when I've got just a bit more time to spare. I patiently await the next update be it later this year or the one following. I know for a fact that it is being handled with great care. The only thing that could be added would probably be voice acting to really enhance the experience much further. Though I think it would be a bit early for that at the moment. Especially when there's some voice work in this though not much outside of moaning. Congrats on getting it out! Happy to see a new update. It's been worth the wait that is for sure. Though I may have to start all over again since if memory serves, old saves will behave a bit weird regarding replays and the like. But it's a good opportunity to get familiar with the story again. I do wonder how different things will be paced with the more forced start and some updated dialogue. Either way, I can't wait to give it a go. Will post again once I get through this update.

why is that we are required to trade with the doctor now in day 1?

The change was in reaction to feedback where people would not know how to restore sanity, because doctor could be easily missed in previous versions. Now it's more integrated at the beginning with a tutorial.

It's so great to hear from you again after all this time. I was afraid that this project was gonna die. It's so phenomenal what you have created here. I'm excited to see more <3
